It all begins with understanding you. Our detailed coffee preference questionnaire takes just a few minutes to complete but gives us deep insight into your unique tastes.
We'll ask about your brewing method (pour-over, French press, espresso, etc.), how you take your coffee (black, with milk, with sugar), and your flavor preferences (do you prefer bright and citrusy or deep and chocolatey?).
This isn't a simple quiz—it's the foundation of your personal coffee profile, which our roasters and partner collectives will use to craft your perfect blend.
This is where the magic happens. Our team of roasters and partner collectives review your profile and create a custom blend just for you.
Using beans from our collective of family farms in Chiapas, they carefully select and roast different varieties to achieve the perfect balance for your palate. They might combine a brighter bean to highlight citrus notes with a deeper roast to provide chocolate undertones that stand up to milk.
Each blend is roasted in small batches of 5kg-15kg to ensure perfect quality control and freshness. This artisan approach allows for precision that large commercial roasters can't match.
Your first shipment is just the beginning of our conversation. We want to know what you think—what you love, what you might want adjusted.
With each subsequent shipment, our roasters fine-tune your blend based on your feedback. Want more brightness? Less acidity? A fuller body? They will adjust the recipe until it's absolutely perfect for you.
