FAQ
Common questions, straight answers
When you place an order, it goes straight to our roasting partner, Grano x Grano, in Mexico. They roast and pack your coffee specifically for your order, then ship it direct to you. No middleman, no warehouse, no sitting on a shelf for months. You get fresher coffee and the roasters get a fair price for their work.
We offer whole bean, coarse grind (French press), medium grind (drip/pour-over), and fine grind (espresso). Select your preferred grind at checkout. If you're unsure, whole bean keeps the longest and gives you flexibility.
Your coffee is roasted and packed to order, then shipped directly. Given typical delivery of 5–10 business days, you're receiving coffee that's roughly 1–2 weeks post-roast by the time it reaches you. For specialty coffee, this is considered ideal - fresh off the roaster is actually too gassy for good extraction. You want a few days of rest. What you won't get is a bag that's been sitting in a warehouse.
Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. If you don't see it within 3 business days of ordering, check your spam folder or email us at hello@directcoffee.shop and we'll sort it out.
If your coffee arrives damaged - bag torn, contents spilled, or anything obviously wrong - take a photo and reach out to us right away. We'll replace it. See our Returns & Refunds page for full details.
Minimum order is $75. All orders $75+ ship free — no flat rate, no weight calculations. US orders ship via a domestic resender, so no customs inspection fees. Expect delivery in 4–10 days. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
